India is an awesome country and at times we get people who write up the craziest of laws. The bureaucrats think that Cops, politicians and people are Gandhians who will always do the right thing and nothing against the spirit of the law.
It was such a sham. This particular law introduced by the UPA to suppress comments and dissent about their rule was a classic example. Finally the Supreme court has deleted it. I can once again say whatever I want without having to go to jail for it 😛 🙂
